ARTIST STATEMENT
ALEXANDRIA OWEN
Silver is a beautiful material I would like to work with more often, if i could. Its price however, is a major hurdle in my way. With the absence of silver in my practice, I’ve experimented with other materials, but find in turn that my knowledge on the material qualities of silver is far lower than that of other metals. I believe there’s a difference in knowing what the material’s properties are, and experiencing them and experimenting with them myself.
